Mickie comes into Velvet’s locker room while she’s taping her knee up and asks if she’s ready and offers to ask Brooke Hogan to postpone the match. Velvet says Mickie is such a good friend and loves her, but she doesn’t want to give Gail Kim the satisfaction of watching her sit out. Mickie says she loves her too and makes sure one more time that Velvet’s okay with this, but they hug and Mickie walks off.

TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky vs. Mickie James (TNA Knockouts Championship Match)
They do some basic feeling out to start off as they trade armbars and takedowns, but that quickly turns to a vicious forearm exchange that Mickie wins before hitting a spinning Uncle Slam, then holds onto the full nelson as she grinds Velvet into the mat as we go to commercial.

We’re back and Mickie is still in control as the announcers point out that Mickie James hasn’t held the title in nearly two years. Velvet comes back with some clotheslines, but Mickie goes after the knee. Velvet hits a Russian legsweep for two, but Mickie starts working over Velvet’s ribs with kicks and shoulderblocks. Taz pops me with a joke about Velvet’s Berzerker boots as she hits a flying headscissors, but seems to have hurt her knee on the way down and Mickie swoops right in and clips her knee out. Mickie gets her Crazy Mickie look on her face as she hits a DDT on Velvet and pins her to finally regain the Knockouts Title.

Mickie briefly looks down at Velvet clutching her knee in pain before heading up the ramp with her championship in hand.

Mickie James vs. Tara w/ Jessie
Tara makes her entrance with her boy toy Jessie and they do the usual routine in the ring. Mickie makes her entrance and her way to the ring. Both girls tie up in the center of the ring, Tara overpowers Mickie and throws her across the ring, the crowd starts chanting for Mickie. They tie up again and Tara gets the advantage into a bear hug quickly followed by slamming Mickie into the mat. She spins around on Mickie’s back followed by smacking her butt, Tara goes over to Jessie and they rub noses and Mickie comes up behind Tara and smacks her back on the butt. Mickie then kicks Tara in the middle section followed by applying a headlock. Tara pushes Mickie into the ropes and she bounces back and hits a shoulder bump.

Mickie comes off the ropes and cartwheels over Tara and lands a drop kick on her, Tara gets back up and Mickie uses a drop toe hold on her. Mickie then sits on her back and licks her hand and smacks Tara numerous times on the butt. She rolls out of the ring and Tara comes into the ring and gets a drop toe hold for his trouble, Mickie then follows up smacking his butt numerous times aswell and he rolls out of the ring to Tara. ODB gets on her hands and knees and ask Mickie to smack her on the butt like she just did Tara and Jessie moments earlier. While Jessie is checking on Tara, Mickie hits her with a baseball slide and sends her onto the floor. Mickie picks Tara up and throws her back into the ring.

We are backstage and Brooke Hogan tells Mickie how much she likes her new album and Twitter has been blowing up about it. Mickie says that she is excited and overwelmed by it and thanks her but says that she would of appreciated getting abit more of the spotlight at Slammiversary. Brooke says that she needed to let Gail and Taryn to settle their feud, she says she knows how bad Mickie wants to be on top of the division.

Brooke then says that she will give Mickie another Knockouts Championship opportunity next week against Velvet Sky. Mickie seems very impressed by that decision and Brooke tells her to get ready, Mickie says she will be ready. Bully Ray enters and tells Mickie to go get ready girl.

TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky and Mickie James vs. Gail Kim and Tara
Mickie and Gail start the match for their respective teams. Mickie takes Gail down with back to back forearms then dropkicks Tara when she attempts to intervene. Gail reverses an Irish whip and Jessie sweeps the legs while Tara distracts ODB. Kim applies a wristlock and looks for a tag but Tara is busy with Jessie.

Tara gets her head back in the game and climbs the apron so she can tag in. Tara continues the assault, tying Mickie up in a Tree of Woe. Tara gets a running head start and dropkicks Mickie right in the face. Tara rubs noses with Jessie so Gail tags herself in since she’s actually paying attention.

Gail splashes Mickie in the corner as Jessie fans Tara with his vest. Back in the ring Mickie regains the advantage with a savate kick as Gail goes for a splash. Tara gets the tag but so does Velvet and the Knockouts Champion takes it right to her rival with a running neckbreaker for a two count.

Velvet sets up for In Yo Face but Gail runs in to stop it. Velvet throws Gail into Jessie and both fall to the outside. Tara gets distracted by this and Velvet hits In Yo Face the second time around for the three count.

Mickie James and Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim and Tara
ODB is once again the referee for this Knockouts match. Mickie James starsts off the match, and is in control of Gail Kim. Eventually Tara gets tagged in and goes on the advantage, and the heels trade off with quick tags, keeping Mickie off her feet. Tara levels Taryn with a huge slap across the face, but ODB keeps her from getting into the match. Gail is in now, and stomps away in the corner. Mickie gets her boots up and takes out Kim who runs to the corner, and both girls take each other out with crossbodies at the same time.

Taryn and Tara with hot tags, and Terrell hits a snap suplex on her opponent. Diving crossbody off the top connects, but Gail Kim breaks up the pin. Mickie and Gail fight to the outside, and Taryn rolls up Tara for a three-count.

After the match, the heels beat up on the faces. Mickie and Tara brawl up the entrance ramp as Gail Kim continues to attack the rookie in the ring. She hits Eat Defeat and leaves her laying in the ring.

Footage is shown that recaps Mickie’s path back to a title shot and she feels sorry for Velvet because she has to fight through an injury, but she needs to remind everyone of how good she is and it’s her time to shine.

Mickie looks like she’s worked hard to get herself into great shape. They do some basic feeling out before Velvet snapmares Mickie and hits a basement dropkick for two. Velvet hits a leapfrog and tweaks the knee she injured a couple of weeks ago and Mickie hesitates for a moment before going for a cover. She only gets two, so she gets a spinning toehold, a very legitimate submission hold that could end a match after someone suffers an injury like Velvet did and we go to commercial.

We’re back, and Mickie is still relentlessly working Velvet’s knee over. She catches Velvet in an STF, Velvet makes it to the ropes to force a break and she suddenly starts firing back at Mickie after getting a second wind. Her knee is still giving her a lot of trouble as she unloads on Mickie, but collapses when she gets fired into the ropes and goes down in a heap. Mickie hesitates again and it costs her as Velvet hits a Russian legsweep for two.

Backstage, Brooke Hogan calls over Mickie James and Miss Tessmacher. She says that she is proud of both ladies and is excited to see who will go after the gold following their number one contenders match. Brooke wishes them luck and Mickie leaves. Tessmacher stays behind afterwards and tells Brooke she can come to her with any of her problems. They hug to end the segment.

Mickie James vs. Miss Tessmacher (Number One Contenders Match)
ODB is the special guest referee in this match. Mickie James takes the first offensive, backing Brooke into a corner and firing away. ODB gets between them, and Mickie doesn’t appreciate that. They lock up again and Mickie ends up using the ropes for leverage, which ODB once again breaks up. Mickie locks in an armbar on the mat, and refuses to break the hold until Tessmacher escapes the ring, and starts yelling at the ref not to play favorites.

The battles to the floor and ODB has to roll to the outside and shoves both of them until they get back into the ring. Brooke throws James into the corner and starts to pop her booty, before running ass-first into Mickie for way too long. She counters with a flapjack and a kip up, and heads up to the top turnuckle. Thesz Press from the top connects, but Mickie only gets a two-count. She throws Brooke head-first into the second turnbuckle and gets the win with a roll-up pinfall.

Following the match, Mickie was shown backstage talking about her win. She says that she is tired of being pushed aside in the Knockouts division and is ready to win the TNA Knockouts Championship once again.

They show a clip of Sunday’s Knockouts match, with Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell getting in each others face, and Velvet Sky picking up the win. As she makes her way to the ring, Gail Kim announces that Taryn is on probation.

TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky & Mickie James vs. Gail Kim & Tara (w/ Jessie)
Velvet and Gail trade Japanese armdrags until Mickie James tags in and fires away at her opponent in the corner. A big kick to the side of the head connects, and James knocks Tara off the apron as they head to a commercial.

The heels are in control when we come back, as Tara goes old school and locks in the Tarantula over the ropes until the ref makes her break the hold. Gail Kim makes a tag and chokes James into the top rope with her boot, and once again Taryn gets in her face. James comes out of nowhere with a hurricanrana, and they take each other out with stereo clotheslines. Velvet and Tara make the hot tags, and they brawl as Gail and Taryn go at it. Gail begs the ref to hit her, and shoves her to the ground. Instead of throwing out the match with a DQ, Taryn smacks the former champ in the face. Tara gets the Widow’s Peak on Mickie James, but Velvet Sky plants her with In Yo’ Face for the three count.

Mickie James vs. Miss Tessmacher
We head to the ring for Knockouts action, out first is Brooke Tessmacher followed by Mickie James. We start with both girls locking up and not giving their opponent the upperhand. Mickie gets a headlock on Brooke only to have it reversed by Brooke, Mickie then regains the headlock.

Mickie comes off the ropes and drops Brooke with a shoulder block, then blows a kiss to her. Mickie comes off the ropes and cartwheels over Brooke followed by a drop kick and Brooke rolls out of the ring, we come back from the commercial and both girls are back in the ring ready to go. They lockup again, Mickie grips Brooke around the waist only to have it reversed with Brooke picking Mickie up and planting her face first, followed by a headlock on the mat.

Mickie gets to her feet and hits Brooke with the forearm to the stomach followed by coming off the ropes to remove the headlock to no success, Brooke then hits a headlock takedown. Mickie then reveres it to a head scissors and applies some pressure, Brooke manages to escape with a kip up and gives Mickie another headlock.

Mickie delivers some forearm shot and picks Brooke up gearing for a backdrop only to have it reversed into a headlock takedown, Mickie counters for a one count. Both girls get to their feet, Mickie takes Brooke to one knee followed by a takedown. Brooke again holds Mickie with a headlock and drops her to one knee. Mickie delivers a couple of forearm shots and pushes Brooke towards the turnbuckle, only for Brooke to use it and have Mickie remain in the headlock takedown.

Backstage, the bride-to-be Brooke Hogan is getting her hair and makeup done. Her bridesmaids are: Christy Hemme, Miss Tessmacher & Mickie James. Brooke thanks them for being here on this special night. Tessmacher asks if her dad is coming to the wedding. Brooke says “no” as she looks peeved.

Wedding time! Bully Ray makes his way out to the ring, and is completely decked out. Tommy Dreamer and Miss Tessmacher come out as the first pair, followed by Brother Runt and Mickie James. Taz and Christy Hemme are last, and we head to our final commercial break.

Five-Knockout Gauntlet Number One Contenders Match
Gail Kim and Miss Tessmacher start off this match. Gail attempts a victory roll, but only gets two. Tessmacher goes for the facebuster out of the corner, but also gets a two-count. Taz puts over that Gail became the first ever Knockouts Champion in a gauntlet match, as she hits Eat Defeat to pin Tessmacher.

ODB makes her way out next. Gail actually leaves the ring to meet her on the ramp, but gets taken out with a big clothesline. The make their way back into the ring, with ODB continuing her pressure by taking Kim from ring post to ring post. Turnbuckle splash connects, followed by a Bronco Buster. ODB takes her down with a clothesline and kips up. She drags Gail to the corner and goes up to the top rope, but Gail sweeps the leg and she lands hard. Gail rolls her up for the win.

Mickie James is next, and Gail goes straight to work with several kicks. Mickie counters with a big kick to the jaw of her own, and a standing dropkick. She catches her with an enzugiri and a flapjack facebuster, but Gail rolls out of the ring to regroup. Mickie doesn’t let up however, and nails her with a headscissors to the floor. She heads up to the top turnbuckle, but Gail grabs on to the legs of Taryn. Mickie comes off the ropes to help Taryn, but gets rolled up with the tights for a three count.
